Knowledge built on real experience. Tuned to stay ahead of tomorrow’s threats.
Twenty-five years of hands-on work across the web — as an end user, a consumer, a website developer, and a system administrator. I stay close to today’s cutting-edge technology so the systems I build are ready for tomorrow’s risks, not yesterday’s.

Practical knowledge across the whole stack.
Infrastructure
Building and operating web infrastructure that’s meant to last — Linux servers, hosting, DNS, email, and the performance work that keeps everything fast and reliable.
Cybersecurity
Treating security as an operational discipline, not a checkbox — monitoring, patching, hardening, and staying current so defenses are ready before threats arrive.
Web Development
Building, migrating, and maintaining websites and WordPress — with performance and SEO grounded in how hosting and servers actually behave.
System Administration
Backups, redundancy, uptime, and registrars — the unglamorous systems that decide whether something survives a bad day.
Real-World Perspective
Knowledge earned as an end user and consumer, not just from the operator’s chair — so the work stays grounded in how technology is actually used.
Writing
Notes on AI data centers, cybersecurity, hosting, and what it takes to build resilient systems.

Learned by doing. Sharpened by staying current.
I learned the web from the inside — first as a user, then as a builder and operator. Most of what I know was learned hands-on, and a few hard lessons early on permanently shaped how I think about security, backups, and ownership.
The principles haven’t changed: own as much of the stack as you reasonably can, keep redundant offsite backups, never depend on a single provider, and treat reliability as something you earn every day. Staying on top of new technology is how I keep that posture ahead of the threats instead of reacting to them.
